Our Best of British cheese large selection features the three highest scoring British cheeses in the recent 2022 World Cheese Awards (10th, 11th and 12th out of 4,700 cheeses) - Sinodun Hill, a locally-made goats' cheese made by Norton & Yarrow in Shillingford near Henley (just 32 miles from our shop); Gorwydd Caerphilly made by the Trewothan Brothers down in Somerset and Spenwood, a hard sheep's cheese made by Village Maid (33 miles from our shop).
Also included in this selection are hand-ladled Colston Bassett Stilton, Pitchfork cheddar - a strong, tangy mature cheddar (made by the Trewothan Brothers), Edmund Tew - a washed rind, pungent cheese from Blackwoods Cheese in Kent and a Ballylisk brie made in County Armagh in Northern Ireland, which recently won 3 stars in the 2022 Great Taste Awards.
Cradoc's oat with cheddar cheese crackers, hand-made in by the Cradoc family in Wales and a classic Pear, Date & Ale Chutney made by England Preserves in Bermondsey, London completes the selection.
