Quite frankly a delicious, quaffable rosé perfect for summer suppers, barbeques or lazy long lunches. This delicate rosé made in the French Pays D'Oc is a beautiful pale pink, with delicate notes of blackcurrants and blueberries. Round and soft on the palate it combines a rich berry aroma with a fresh acidity which yields a long-lasting finish. Made for Waddesdon, rather than at Waddesdon in the South West of France. This is the only Waddesdon Collection wine which is not a single grape varietal being a blend of grenache noir, cinsault and syrah grapes.
Pairs nicely with a young fresh goat's cheese like Buchette de Manon or Mistralou from Haute Provence or closer to home the award-winning Sinodun Hill made in South Oxfordshire, 31 miles from the shop, and the highest awarded British cheese in the recent 2023 World Cheese Awards.
50% Grenache Noir, 30% Cinsault, 20% Syrah and 12.5% ABV.
