This rich, fruity and spicy Syrah (also better known as the grape variety used to make Shiraz) is a perfect Sunday lunch pairing. Redcurrants, cherries and plums on the nose with a fresh and delicious long-lasting finish. 
 
Made in the south west of France in the Pays D'Oc for Waddesdon, rather than at Waddesdon, this Waddesdon Rothschild Collection Syrah pairs nicely with smoked cheeses like Ballylisk Triple Rose smoked (a triple creamed cheese) or smoked Westcombe cheddar or smoked Mrs Kirkham's Lancashire. Could also stand up to a Beaufort - which few wines can. 
 
100% Syrah and 13.5% ABV.
